TINTAGEL, BURSTALL  

Architecture ONE worked closely on the brief with the client for this large detached property, the owners had very precise requirements which included making the properties large garden to the rear of the address a much more accessible space and to create in a link in there living in the house between dining, family, kitchen areas directly to the exterior garden space. 

 

The internal changes were also to include a completely new front entrance location and large reception hall running directly through the centre of the address, and into the rear extension. 

This created a well-formed, single-storey form to enable spacious dining and kitchen space. 

 

Consideration was given to maximizing natural light by the inclusion of double roof lantern lights in the rear extension together with large sliding doors to the rear garden patio aspect to highlight the established garden

This was our first experience of a building project, and we were glad that we used Jonathon and the team at Architecture ONE. They were able to suggest alternative designs which helped us to come up with our final plans. Jonathon helped us through the whole process, was supportive and approachable, and was quick to respond to any queries we had. We are really pleased with the final build which has made a huge difference to us.
