The Client Brief for this property was to create a single storey addition which would consider creating a light and open lounge space addition which could open into the gardens of this large 1930's detached property in the Christchurch area, Ipswich, Suffolk

Architecture ONE undertook a contemporary approach to the interpretation of this centralised garden facing living space.

When interpreting the client requirements consideration was given to the provision of maximising natural light to achieve an inviting space.

The brief was achieved through the use of a full width accordion glazing system to the external northwest elevation with the inclusion of a lantern roof window.
