CHRISTMAS COTTAGE, HADLEIGH 

This unique dwelling is located within the former grounds of a Grade II* listed building. 

 

The new building was constructed for the purpose of a garage with an ancillary office for the property owner. Many design elements from the Christmas Cottage are mirrored in this building, with particular attention to brick detailing and fenestration. 

 

The level of detail and attention to finishes on this building are clearly ilustrated in our Awards Page where this property was put forward in 2025 for Best Non Residential New Build. 

OWNERS REVIEW 

 

Architecture ONE has been involved from start to finish in our planning of our beautiful building. 

Once approval was gained Architecture ONE stepped in again after quite a process with selecting a builder for a very much bespoke build. 

Jonathan did a wonderful job in introducing us to Lings builders , who in working together with Jonathon pulled off what can only be described as a superb quality building with so many bespoke features using many hand made materials including bricks, tiles and copings. 

Everything has ran smoothly and beautifully and we could not be more pleased.
