SQUIRRELLS MILL RD, BILDESTON 

Architecture ONE had a clear brief for this property, which was to create a well-formed, proportioned single-storey extension to expand the existing kitchen space. The objective was to seamlessly connect the interior and exterior spaces, allowing for a feeling of outdoor dining while still being able to enjoy the comfort and warmth of the property. 

 

Special consideration was given to maximizing natural light and providing dual aspect views of the established garden. In order to achieve this, accordion glazing with a corner profile detail was used, along with a secondary entrance in the form of a 'door and a half' design.
